Why I Chose This Topic
A few months ago I saw a documentary about the Battle of Midway on the History channel. I wanted to learn more about it and this became my chance. So I picked the Battle of Midway as my topic.
How I Conducted My Research
I went on the internet at school and researched Primary and Secondary documents that were from the Battle of Midway itself. I also looked at vehicles used in the battle on both sides, the US and the Japanese. Then I started designing my website the way I would like it to be.
How I Created and Developed My Website
First, I looked up a good image to place on the home page of the website. From there I looked up a quote for the Battle of Midway and found one by Winston Churchill that I deemed good enough for my website. Then I looked up the vehicles used in the battle and added images and a caption for each image.
How My Project Relates to the Theme
My project relates to the theme in the fact that it is a turning point in history. Without the US winning the Battle of Midway, the Japanese could have taken over every island in the Pacific.
